Low Carb Recipes (Most Popular)
These are adapted from an awesome butter pound cake recipe, so they have a more cake like texture, but super moist and yummy.
Just over two net carbs each mini cupcake and that's including the frosting. Yes, you can absolutely halve this recipe, but I will warn you, they are YUMMY and they go away FAST!
My friend gave me this recipe, and I will tell you what, you can interchange all sorts of things with this and it will be awesome. Sub out the broccoli for cauliflower, or part cauliflower and some carrots. You can use ANY shredded cheese, and use low or fat free if you like to reduce calories. Use turkey bacon, or bacon bits if you want. I was trying to go as low carb as possible, so I used real mayo, but obviously, sub that out too if you are going low fat. Omit the liquid sweetener and add brown sugar if you want. My friend adds chopped onions, but I didn't have any. I could seriously eat the entire bowl of this.
Conversion from an awesome full sugar recipe. Use on keto brownies, pound cake or cookies.
4 ozs of fish + 1 tbsp of crema sauce = a tasty staple to serve over lettuce , or low carb tortilla shells
Found this delicious low carb quiche on FitTV, Blaine Jelus cooking show.
Got this from my sister (who is doing low carb/hcg) - SO yummy when you want a little something crunchy!
This is a mish mash of different recipes I have found online. This is the version that works for me, the ingredients I like to use, what my people like. Based on all that, they are rated AWESOME here at my house. :D
Good crockpot meal for a cold day. Use whatever color bell peppers you like, I use yellow and orange. Ground beef is fine, but will add calories. Turkey cutlets can be subbed for the steak to reduce calories and fat. I use two kinds of meat to add flavor and texture.
Served alone or with a salad, much yum. I serve it alone with a dollop of sour cream, not added to ingredients or carb count. Also, if your chops are smaller you will have filling for more.
Low Calorie, Low Fat, Low Carb...HIGH awesomeness. My DH and I love potato salad...but can't eat that much starch due to Diabetes. I tend to sub cauliflower for potatoes in many things, but this was a leap. Still? It's very good. People in my family who hate vegetables will eat this.
This is the closest I have come to actual PIZZA pizza. The caulifower crust is awesome, but not as pick-up-able. The meat crust is kinda like a thin meatloaf with topping...not that there's anything wrong with that. But this...THIS is really like real pizza...but one gives you 4 slices, anyway you want it, and right around 500 calories, depending on what you add for toppings. If you use the low carb pita and not so many veggies, it stays pretty low carb too.
8 Net Carbs. Totally worth it. 11 Net Carbs if you put a serving of Lite Cool Whip on it. If you MAKE SF whipped cream, it adds none.
These are somewhere between a traditional cookie and a shortbread, but in peanutty yumminess. Just under 2 gms net carbs each.
So. Keto household and every bread or muffin we’ve tried to do keto has been…well, unappealing. This is when my brain goes crazy and I think I can squeeze coal into diamonds and stuff. I love the texture of this certain keto cake I make so much, cuz it’s like REAL cake, and I thought, “If I make it not so sweet, maybe…like a corn bread kind of thing…maybe like cornbread and Red Lobster biscuits had a baby…hmmmm…” I sort of halved it and made some changes and came out with a very yummy, slightly sweet, corny/garlic cheese muffin.
