Love cabbage rolls but hate rolling them so decided to do a stove top casserole that had all the ingredients but required simplified prep. It is tasty enough to become a favorite. To get more tomato flavor a tablespoon or 2 of tomato paste or diced canned tomatoes can be added to the recipe.
Mix all ingredients, adding onion/garlic and spices to taste. Divide into two loaf pans sprayed with pan spray. Cook at 375 till done (60 to 75 minutes depending on thickness of meat).
This has just a tint of apple cider taste, and incorporates healthy apple concentrate (with skin, seeds, etc) with healthy apple cider vinegar. I usually sprinkle some apple pie spice on top of my mug.
