1.5 cups fresh mild salsa
1.5 cup chicken broth
1 cup sliced baby carrots
1 cup diced golden potatoes with or without skin
4 oz ground beef, browned with taco seasoning to taste
( I like to reserve some beef from when I make taco's, freeze it until needed)
1 cup frozen sweet corn
the following are optional
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 chopped green peppers
1/2 cup black olives
simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes
These turkey burgers are super fast to make have a fun kick to it. I usually top it with mango chutney.
This recipe is lower in fat and contains Olive Oil which is healthier than regular mayo. Apples and celeray add more fiber.
Like throwing ingredients together to see what they will taste like and this one turned out really good!!
This is Ramen Noodles, any flavor, with a few extra spices added. My brother came up with this recipe. Ingrediant amounts are NOT exact. You can add as much as you want.
Turkey sandwich on Sweet Dark Whole Grain bread, complete with tomatoes, lettuce, pickle, mayo and my cheese of choice Colby-jack.
We first had this at a GS camp out with Fritos and cheese. It is also delicious (and more healthy) by itself.
