I could not find the Goya Empanada Disc to put into the ingredient category but it is 170 calories per disc. So please add this to the total calorie intake for each empanada. Enjoy and take away or add ingredients because I add to taste except the cheese.
So easy and my kids love these. Instead of putting on a bun, I slide in a popsicle stick for them. I wrap mine in a lettuce leaf. It's our favorite low carb recipes. Pairs well with Popcorn Cauliflower and slices veggies (bell pepper, cucumbers, tomatoes)
If you like jalapenos, you may enjoy this dish. There are lots of ways you can vary the ingredients and you can increase the "heat' of the soup by leaving the seeds in, adding more jalapenos or other peppers or sauces.
I cooked a recipe this evening for a family get together on the weekend, including our Granddaughter(age 12 months). For this recipe, I cooked everything, minus the jalapenos and crushed garlic. Pulled off a pint for her, added the jalapenos, crushed garlic and finished cooking.
