These tasty nuggets are a way for me to get fish into my grandson's diet without buying the store bought strips that have so many unhealthy ingredients in them. The bonus is that I can eat them too.
The crab shumai I used were lower in fat than the ones I found on SparkRecipes. Any frozen or homemade dumpling will do, or leave them out. Similarly, I used some brown rice ramen I bought at Costco and chose the closest thing to that for this recipe.
Original recipe is for shrimp tacos. I don't eat tacos so I have omitted them.
These are great to make with leftover salmon on Sunday as you can store them in a ziplock bag in the fridge all week and take one out each morning for breakfast. Just pop it in the toaster over or microwave!
A lighter version of a yummy brunch staple. Made for myself, but you may enjoy it also. Less than 300 calories for 1/4 of the whole pie. If cut into 8 servings it is less than 150 calories!
