Side Items Recipes (Most Popular)
This is an adapted recipe for a classic Thanksgiving side dish. There is a little heavy cream and butter which gives a lot of richness and flavor, but not so much that it makes it an unhealthy dish.
Use cup for cup in most recipes in place of wheat flour.

This is so quick and easy to do and the taste far exceeds anything you can buy in the store. So worth it. This recipe does require raw egg. I do pasturize my egg first before using them in this recipe. It's a very easy process and you can learn how on the internet. I highly recommend you do this to prevent salmonella.
You can also add in chipoltes in adobe sauce for chipolte mayo, or pesto for pesto mayo or anything you want. Love this stuff!
Refreshing, sweet and tangy coleslaw with no mayo. I use splenda to keep carbs low but you could use sugar and adjust calories accordingly.
Boil the potatoes (with skins on) and the eggs until done. While the potatoes and eggs are cooking you can dice up the celery and onion into a fairly large bowl. Let the potatoes and eggs cool, then dice them up as well into the same bowl with the celery and onions. You can leave the skins on the potato if you like. Once everything is chopped you can mix it up with a 1/2 cup of miracle whip and a 1/2 cup of light mayo. Mix everything together and salt and pepper to taste. Lastly, add the vinegar and stir thoroughly and refrigerate until cool. I like mine very tangy so I put more vinegar depending on taste.
This is one of my favorite make-ahead grab-&-go meals. If you would rather make a casserole, use a 9x9 pan. Double the recipe if your whole family wants to indulge.
This dish really is like eating a cheeseburger.
So good & low carb. I will be working on a potato salad using this vegetable! Tastes better than the cauli mash recipes!
Just found this recipe, tweaked it to my taste & I LOVE it. If you're not crazy about the toasted taste of sesame oil, try using olive oil in it's place. If you want to add some heat throw in some crushed red pepper flakes!
