I tasted a great salad at Sweet Tomatoes and then later at our Farmer's store, I decided to mix a few ingredients of my own and try it at home. This is just a basic mix where you can had feta, goat or any crumbly cheese, fresh veggies and a light vinegar dressing to make a great salad.
My husband and I saw this recipe on T.V. years ago for this chicken salad a lady was trying to figure out from her relative from long ago. Turns out it was chicken, eggs, mayo, salt, pepper and the mystery ingredient...garlic powder. I grill my chicken in the skillet with the seasonings and add some to the mix as well. This recipe makes 10 servings of 1/2 C each.
I often get the same made up salad at Ruby Tuesday's and then just put 1/2 T Blue Cheese dressing on the 1st time and Catalina (French) on the second time around. It's a pain in the butt to have to add in all the ingredients every time I go, so I decided to make a recipe. I'm guessing on the measurements of course.
