I love to make tuna salad. I usually will add a bed of spinach or a slice of whole grain bread to make it a meal!
For the record, I HATE the canned sloppy joe stuff you find at the grocery store. My mom always made a version of this recipe when she was running a daycare out of our home. I have "tweeked" it a little to suit the tastes of my husband and I, and I encourage anyone who tries this recipe to do the same! I don't add as much brown sugar as my mom did since I felt that the ketchup and chili sauce added enough sweetness. However, I do add more apple cider vinegar than my mom because I like the tanginess of it.
