This is an adaptation from a recipe given by fitness expert and triathelete Karena Dawn from the issue of Women's Health, May 2010, page 74. I used Kamut Flakes instead of Old-Fashioned Oatmeal to reduce the calories, cranberries in lieu of dried apricots and upped the cinnamon from "taste" to 1 Tbsp.Submitted by: DANCING_CHILD

This recipe came from lunchesbythemonth.com. A great resouce for inventive bagged lunches. I substituted creamer for non-fat milk pwdr. Use whatever you have on hand.I gave these to my preschoolers for lunch and gave grape jelly for dipping. I have also used this recipe in place of the popular "buckeyes" covered in chocolate. These are sweetened with honey, and they use homemade, gluten-free graham crackers. My mom said they are the best peanut butter balls she's ever had and she couldn't care less about the regular ones ever again, and my sister pretended to dump a plate of the regular ones in the trash can. Guess these are a hit! you can also find the recipe on my blog: healthy-n-happy.blogspot.comSubmitted by: KRAVMAGAGIRL
