Using strips of yellow squash rather than pasta cuts both the carbs and calories in this delicious Italian favorite!
A Karen Original recipe

smooth creamy and awesome!
This is something I whipped together one night after tiring of marinara. And what really makes butternut squash pop are more warm, fall flavors like cinnamon and nutmeg. A dash of each of the spices, to your liking, and the no calorie butter spray to your heart's content. It's the spices and squash you'll taste.
One of my most recent favorites in the freezer section is Healthy Choices Pumpkin Squash Ravioli. Since pre-prepared food tends to be a bit expensive and I wanted something I could make for the whole family, here is my version of their very delish dish :)
Turkey meat with squash, tomoatoes, peppers, onions, and mushrooms with pesto/cheese ravioli!
Sweet, savory and fresh pasta all rolled in to one? Can't get much better than this! And for a lot of "no-no" items in one dish, it tastes like you're getting away with something!
I tried a recipe like this at Spagetti's recently...it's becoming one of my favorites!
This is a delicious treat if you have a little extra time. I make this and freeze the left over ravioli.
A meatless main dish of lush proportions.
