Turnip Green Soup Recipes

Delicious, easy soup.

Adaptation of a recipe given to me by a friend. I opted out of the Knorr Vegetable Soup Mix and left out the additional salt and cut the recipe in nearly half.

When I was first told of this recipe, I thought no. I was encouraged to try and am so glad I did! I've shared it with friends, family and am always asked to provide the recipe.

Riff on a recipe from a friend of my daughter. Even people who thought they didn't care for turnip greens have raved about this. We make it at least twice a month.

This is a vegetarian version of Turnip Green Soup. You may add sausage to it at the beginning, if you'd like. If not using fresh blackeyed peas, add a can at the time you add northern beans. You may substitute other beans/peas according to taste.
