Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Maybe we are limiting our definition of a salad as the skinny part of a meal, the side dish. How about sometimes making it the main part, with this type of salad, and having your sides as the low calorie additions. Something this nourishing deserves to be front and centre, perhaps?
Good but too much sodium and calories for a salad without dressing
A very large salad with a lot of calories plus more calories for the dressing which is not included in the count. Sounds tasty but I cannot use that many calories for one salad. How about some lower calorie recipes.
We love this salad and make it often. The grapes are a nice touch, adding just the right amount of sweetness. We omit the cheese as needed and avoid going over the day's calorie goals.
With this much protein in it, it is worth that calorie count!
Do a smaller one of this with a sweet and savory dressing. Over 1/2 less in calories!
Looks very tasty but a little high for calories and carbs for me.
I also think its great...but alot of calories
I think this is really a very high calorie salad. instead we can add more green and leafy vegetables to make more effective for those who are looking for weight loss. Thanks. Chris Dill, www.vitaliving.com, Virginia
That's a lot of calories for a salad. Even with the good amount of protein I think I'd be starving soon after. I think a half serving would make a nice side salad to accompany a meal.
This was absolutely delicious with just one tablespoon of balsamic viniagrette. I substituted unsalted pecans, feta and green grapes since that is what I had on hand.
