Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I love bread pudding and this one looks much less calorie laden. Would love to see a sauce to go over it with fewer calories as well.
Very good, Instead of splenda I used the brown sugar mix. Turned out very moist abd as good as I remember as a kid.
wonderful! I think I added too much salt (me bad) but I don't think it needs it. YUMMY!!!
I didn't like the aftertaste that Splenda gave this dish. Next time I will use regular sugar but lots less than the recipe uses. Might even add some chopped pecans.....
Used part raisins, part cranberries, one whole egg instead of 3 egg whites, agave syrup instead of spenda and almond milk. Great way to use up some whole wheat dinner rolls! Thanks for the inspiration! (NOTE: Made this again Sep 26: Cranberries /pears, oil not butter, brown sugar. YUMMY again!!
I omitted the Splenda from this recipe and replaced it with 1 tablespoon of sugar. To add sweetness, my husband topped his pudding with corn syrup. I topped mine with sweetened rhubarb and strawberries. Delicious, but 10 servings? Not in my house! Maybe 4!!!!
This is soooooooooo scrumptious!!! I divided it into 6 servings to make the servings a little more generous and that makes the calories 161 per serving.
I can't wait to make it. My husband loves bread pudding and I try to stay away from it because of the calories. Now, I can even have some and with all the suggestions I can make it over and over. Thanks
Used soy milk, banana, cut sweetener in half and cut out the raisins, added protein powder, turned out great. Even got my picky eater to eat some.
This was a great recipe. I substituted whole wheat for diet wheat to lower calories. Very easy and quick to make.
I make a low fat bread pudding similar to this but in the microwave. Thanks
