This was great. I cut back to about 1/4 teaspoon of the red pepper and I used the sugar and I loved it. The sweet and spicy was delicious. I didn't have any bacon but I will use it next time.
Really tasty--had this with brown rice for dinner and I was very happy! The touch of brown sugar really makes the difference, so I say don't skip that! Thanks for the recipe!
