Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I skipped the onion soup mix to save on sodium. Used real onion instead and added seasonings. Much better since the canned cream of mushroom already added a lot of saltiness.
Used low salt onion soup. added fresh veggies -- onion, peppers, zucchini, carrots. Used a low salt mushroom soup, also.
The canned and dried soups add too much sodium. I make my own.
Loved it! Used low fat cream of chicken instead of the mushroom. Sooooo good
What a great easy recipe. I used cream of chicken soup instead and added egg noodles near the end and it was so delicious. I also added low fat sour cream so the egg noodles would take up some of the extra liquid. I was able to add white rice with this for a complete meal instead of noodles
I dont add sour cream...when it all done I turn it off then I add greek yogurt, to make it creamy..its good with out it too..I add fresh mushrooms too..
and I also added peas, frozen at the end so they dont get mushy
also just half the soup mix to save on the sodium
Pretty good! I kept the recipe the same, the only thing I did differently was half the packet of onion soup mix (but I should have just added all of it because it needs the salt, but I am trying to cut back on sodium) so my bad, otherwise it was awesome and I would make it again!
It was very good but extremely salty. I think adding less of the onion soup mix and adding rice to the slow cooker would be good.
