SODIUM!
Try Bragg's Liquid Aminos as a teriyaki substitute. It's available in a spray bottle so you only use 1/4 teaspoon. This will cut your sodium total by 75%
Folks , if you go to the bottom of the Nutritional Info Box and click the link to the by ingredient nutrition. You will get the answers to your questions. Including the fact that the Marinade is store-bought.
You can also make your own, as you know tofu takes on any taste. We have a real nice greek restaurant in our area. I buy there homemade salad dressing all the time and use about 1/2 cup. for the nutritional value I use the conten on the bottle and on the tofu and divide it by the portion :)
The one she used was Kikkoman teriyaki sauce. It is in the full nutritional information.
Relax everyone. It looks like there is a recommendation for kikkoman r=teriyaki sauce. 15 calories. 1T. click on the link for th full nutritional value and it clearly lists Kikkoman teriyaki sauce :)
Any chance SP_Steph could provide a marinade recipe that would meet the nutritional info in this recipe? Or what she used. Since it says to marinate in "your choice" I'm wondering if the nutritional info includes or excludes the marinade. This looks like something we'd really enjoy. Thanks for this!
What is the point without a recipe for the marinade? That pretty much reduces the nutrition info and calorie count to pure speculation, doesn't it?
