Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Meat was very tender- but overall too salty with all the seasoning and gravy mixes
I wish I could eat this, but the sodium is double my daily allowance. I would make it in a heartbeat otherwise! YUM!
too much sodium for me.
Is the high calorie count due to the sauce and salad mixes used? If so is there a alternative to them?
Easy prep, put potatoes, carrots, and onion in bottom of crock pot with roast on top. With dry mix packets a little high in the sodium area. Excellent with wonderful flavor!
There is a lot of sodium in all those mixes, unless you use low-sodium ones---which the recipe does not call for.
i'm sure it's tasty, watch the fat
The combination of seasoning packets were simply amazing taste-wise, tho it does add 2.9 g carbs that wouldn't be there if it were just beef roast & broth. Of course I added a few onions, 6 potatoes and 6 carrots for the DH (who LOVED this recipe btw). I'm on KETO (low carb) ate only meat & 1 onion.
Sound easy but I'm uncertain of the sodium levels.
Love a good pot roast, ultimite comfort food for me. But the sodium in this is recipe makes me skip it. It's more than 1/3 my daily allowence, wish I could, sounds awesome.
this was good... I left out the ranch dressing mix... added carrots, mushrooms and about 2 TBSP. tomato paste....lots of sodium.... add mushrooms toward the last 2 hours
Very nice way to do a lower cost cut of beef. Works well with a pork loin. Easy to make lower carb replacements.
