Great idea made it without poison Splenda just little brown sugar, Cinnamon & put some chopped dates in the middle
A great low-calorie alternative to the "fried apples" my mother used to make in the 70s. Great with pork tenderloin. One suggestion: water content may be too large, especially if you are making multiple servings. 1/3c or even 1/4c water per apple is probably plenty, and will help retain seasoning
