Amazing!! Delicious!! I don't think I'll ever cook asparagus any other way. Instead of Italian seasoning, I sprinkled the spears with a little garlic salt.
This was great. I usually just roast asparagus with olive oil and salt/pepper. The cheese was a really nice change.
I love roasted asparagus, but spray with a little olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt and ground pepper, can't go wrong. Also do the same thing with cubes of butternut squash and just roast longer, about 45 minues, turning occasionally. Sweet and wonderful
I think spray oil is good...saves calories...tastes fresher...with salmon cakes..ummmm
I can't wait to try some of these other suggestions! Even my veggie haters will eat any variation of this dish. My favorite: liberally sprinkle grated parmesan, lemon juice and kosher salt and cook just as directed here. Perfect for any weeknight or company. Be prepared for the compliments! :o)
I used olive oil spray to maximize coverage and minimize calories. Also, a light grating of Asiago goes a long way...longer than shaving!
