    1c Butter, softened
    1.5c Brown Sugar
    4 Eggs
    2T Vanilla
    2c Flour
    1t Baking Soda
    1t Baking Powder
    .5t Salt
    1c Milk


Beat butter and brown sugar 3 minutes on high in large bowl of electric mixer, until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time, and extract.
Stir together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. On low, beat half of dry mixture into butter mixture until blended; slowly add milk and beat until blended. Add remaining flour mixture and beat until well blended.
spread into greased and floured (or use non-stick spray with flour) into pan.
Bake at 350, 30 minutes in a 9 inch pan.
