Ingredients

1 box Betty Crocker Supermoist Spice Cake mix
1 cup water
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup egg substitute
Directions
1. Follow preheating instructions on cake mix box to ensure your oven is set to right temperature.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine dry mix, water, applesauce, and egg substitute. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds or until dry mixture is just wet. Turn speed to high and mix thoroughly for 2 minutes.
3. Pour mixture into 2 9-inch cake rounds that have been sprayed with no-stick spray. Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into middle of cakes comes out clean.
4. Let cool completely in pans.
5. Remove from pans and decorate. Makes 12 2-inch slices.
