A less sweet version of the coca-cola cake made with Coke Zero, less sugar & light margerine
My sister-in-law sent this recipe to my husband when he was diagnosed with diabetes. He absolutely loves it and it doesn't raise his glucose levels.
This is a GREAT cream cheese frosting made with fresh strawberries. Goes great with my Strawberry Cupcakes made From Scratch!
A dark, dense, hearty whole grain bread which is tasty served warm. I enjoy it by itself but you can also spread no fat cream cheese or your favorite preserves on it.
Nice twist to the regular ole bread pudding. Good with a bit of light whipped cream, but that's NOT figured into the nutrition calculations.
High protein. Rich chocolate. Frothy texture. Decadent and guilt-free. You won't believe how four simple ingredients can taste so good together!
The original recipe comes in at over 700 calories!!! I found a recipe that used applesauce in place of the oil. I lightened it further using skim milk, egg substitue and sweet n' low. Came out very moist and I dusted the top with 10x sugar for the little "extra", though whipped cream or a little bit of icing would be good also...or you may enjoy just plain! Not something for everyday, but definately worth it if you just have that craving that won't go away!
This is a pretty low-fat, low-calorie recipe that I originally found on the internet, and then tweaked to make it my own!
This is a wonderful cake - but how my mother-in-law got the recipe and if it should be titled as such I am not sure - would love to hear from others and what they call it.
This is an accidental adaptation for the no-butter sugar cookie recipe found on the blog: A Foodie Loves Company. I say accidental because her recipe calls for 2/3 cup canola oil however I substituted vegetable oil and accidentally used 3/4 cups instead of 2/3 cups. They still turned out quite nicely.
Peanut butter, almonds and oatmeal take the edge off PMS chocolate cravings.
This chocolate cake has more of a milk chocolate, rather than dark chocolate flavor, making it perfect for kids. It's simple to put together, and bakes up into a moist but easy-to-slice cake. It's perfect for layers or cupcakes, or served right from a 9" x 13" pan
No eggs? No problem. A great way to get healthy fat from coconut and so easy to make. Will please anyone who likes coconut; not just health foodies! You can absolutely use stevia instead of or in addition to the agave nectar.
