3 cups Kellogs all bran
pour 2.5 cups hot water over, let set 5 minutes
Add 1 box Krusteaz or other brand muffin mix (any flavor) (12 serving size)
add 1.5 teaspoon baking soda
Mix lightly
Makes 17 to 18 muffins Bake 350 15 to 20 minutes
This is a great breakfast to take into work, quick to prepare and delicious - don't let the thought of eating cold uncooked oats put you off, what have you to loose by giving it a go
This granola was designed to provide maximum Protein, Fibre and Potasium while trying to minimize sugars, without using protein powder. Serving size is 1/2 cup. I use it on top of plain yoghurt or cottage cheese. Try it. I think it is better tasting than ANY granola (healthy or not).
Took out the oil and it still tasted great. A great way to showcase Red Fife's (bulk barn) capabilities of making fluffy pancakes with a nice 'filling' texture, and four times the protein to boot! Enjoy!

Store bought muesli can be full of sugar and not as healthy as you might think. Here is a recipe taken from the Hairy Dieters recipe book. Very tasty and satisfying
I've substituted applesauce for the oil and fat free evaporated milk for the milk in the kit. They were delicious! I recommend putting them in paper or foil muffin cups because they are a little sticky

I was wanting Breakfast for dinner and this is what I cam eup with. I served it with fresh strawberries, low fat sliced ham and some crispy hash browns.
These were inspired by a muffin I got in Dallas one day...moved to New Orleans, could not find them, so I invented my own version. I think these are better!
A little bit of sweet and spicy makes this good for any meal. Very colorful and full of protein, too!
