Yummy Mixed berry, banana and yogurt smoothie with a little orange juice on top!
For an extra treat... try cutting a banana into the batter or topping with sliced fruit instead of syrup.
Light and Crispy and most importantly healthy granola that is easy and quick to make, which holds together in clusters well. Add to any flavor of yogurt or have as a cereal with your milk of choice.
These are probably not the authentic French recipe, but my daughter has loved these since she was old enough to eat solid food. I originally made them without the sugar and salt.
A yummy start to the day that contains a big fiber and potassium kick. (Cut the recipe in half if you don't need such a big batch!)
Two egg-white scrambled with sweet peppers & onion for crunch and vitamins, turmeric and paprika add color and flavor (turmeric turns anything yellow, looks like "whole" eggs), cottage cheese ties it all in, adds right amount of salt and creaminess. Portions on veggies are approximate, you can add or take away, they don't have many calories anyway. I like to use red onion. It's a super fast breakfast when I have pre-cut veggies in the fridge and usually add a frozen whole wheat pancake from a batch made at home in advance. Yummy!
Got the idea for this from fANNEtastic bloggers almond butter french toast. She has a FAB site...check it out at http://www.fannetasticfood.com
I wanted to create a Granola that would stick with me so in went the peanut butter. I use Agave as the sweetener because of where is falls on the glycemic index. No big blood sugar drop. I added in the flax because it is AWESOME for us. You can't even tell it is there.

These are fantastic! I modified a recipe from another user and even my husband and son thought it was great. You can make a full quiche or make the muffins like I do. I find the muffins are easy for serving portions and just pulling out of the freezer or fridge and warming up!
Yummy baked oatmeal for breakfast! Can take basic recipe then add/subtract berries, other fruit, chocolate chips or peanut butter, etc!
