these taste great, and cook so fast! It was crazy how the baking soda made it foam. Would be fun for kids to make and see the reaction to the starter. This is from Vita-mix's recipe book. An easy way to enjoy a favorite! Fill with cottage cheese and strawberries and top with whipped topping....YUM

A "bisquick" recipe, but I use the Target brand all purpose mix, because its nearly half the calories per serving, and my hubby likes it better than "real" bisquick. So, if you make this with regular or even "heart smart" bisquick, your calorie per donut will be higher.
Quick and easy to throw together, but takes almost an hour to cook. Great for pot lucks or just to have made and ready for the week- easy to reheat!
Don't let the name fool you this is a very simple yet healthy recipe that is pretty good. It is great for those of us watching our sugar and dairy intake. The key is the banana, the riper the better, so don't throw away those nearly black bananas, make some oatmeal!
