Chili Bean Soup Recipes

Not a true chili; it is more of a thick hamburger/tomato/bean soup.

This is my new favorite soup — very easy to make and deliciously flavorful, too. Serve as is, or top with cilantro, grated cheddar cheese, hot sauce, or a dollop of plain Greek yogurt (for added creaminess).

You can make this with only one cup of broth if you want more of a chili consistency. Add more broth for a soupy consistency.

This is perfect for warming the sole on a cold winter day or night. You can make this soup as spicy as you want.

Take Hurst's HamBeens Brand Chili 15 Bean soup mix (entire bag) and add extra ingrediants spices, tomatoes tequilla and triple sec for a special flavor. For a thicker soup I pureed 2 cans of black beans. 1 cup = 1 serving for my calculations

This looks a lot like chili but it is not quite the same.
This is a sweeter tasting bean soup.
It's great and kids love it.

my own version of chili - aka bean soup

A chili-spiced soup, brothy and flavorful with mushrooms, beans, and spinach, fairly high in protein yet low in fat. Great with organic whole wheat tortillas on a cold night.
