Decided to use the leftover egg and cream mixture that I used for my son's french toast sticks. And instead of letting it go to waste I cooked it up and had it over sausage.
We don't celebrate easter, but still like the spicy fruit buns. We use the white paste to make other shapes on top! This is my adaptation of the UK Vegetarian society 'vegan friendly' recipe. It could be tweaked to be less calories by using less sugar, fruit (I like mine very fruity) and margerine, and leaving the white markings off. You can substitute up to 1/3 of the strong bread flour with wholemeal strong bread flour without ill-effects - more than this and the buns are too heavy.
One bun plus some fruit and a soy latte makes a great breakfast!

Adapted from Healthy Food Guide recipe.
My husband, Don, makes these every Sunday and puts in the freezer. We pop a quarter of it in the toaster every morning for our daughter's quick breakfast.
Easy to Make! Use any flavor no sugar added applesauce for a different taste!

I haven't tried this with fat free half and half, so am not sure if it will work as well. Note: the 1 cup of wild rice is pre-cooked.
FYI: Almond milk can be used vs. coconut milk both should be unsweetened.

This makes a little less than 32 ounces of smoothie, I drink it after weight lifting workouts but it would make a good meal on its own. Add stevia or agave nectar if you want a little more sweetness..
