This is just another little concoction I've discovered that tastes AMAZING!!!
Great fresh summer dish! Use these fruits or try some other combos. Fresh is best, but you can use frozen or canned fruits too.
Our family's fav cholent: light, potato-less, soupy. A Shabbos staple.
Meat can vary - I've used cubed chuck, bone-in flanken, cheek meat, lamb, and these days, kalky. As long as it's not too fatty (cut off any extraneous fat), it's all good. After hours over a slow fire, the meat will soften and fall apart. I use any leftovers as a super stock base for a hearty veggie soup.
This is Paula Deens recipe but i just had to post it- looks so good - thanks Paula
This is camp food - fixed over a fire. Not sure if everyone calls them "Pudgie Pies" or not - but my family did.
This is camp food. Not sure if everyone calls it this, but my family did. Made over a fire in a special "pie maker" like a long-handled small foreman grill.
Quick Dessert.
Use any flavor of Kool-Aid such as lemon, lemon-lime, cherry or strawberry.

My 6-yr-old grandaughter loves this one! Not the lowest calorie item, but extremely tasty and give you a lot of potassium and half of your Vitamin A for the day.
This is a good side dish and the kind of things you can substitute are many. Also this is very Spicy yum!
These eggs have a little "kick" to them, thanks to the addition of hot pepper sauce. These are one of the first things to go when I bring them for my office potlucks.
My mom made this BBQ sauce when I was growing up. It is similar to Southern Maid which is a brand made near here.
I got the recipe for Baked Macaroni and Cheese from SparkRecipes (submitted by BSING46). I read a lot of the reviews and, while many did approve, some disapproved saying the recipe was too bland and dry (also that the nutrional calculations were all wrong). I have added frozen peas, hot sauce and onions to this recipe, many others added broccoli instead of peas. Other additions you may like to try: green, yellow and/or red peppers, chives, garlic, mushrooms, zucchini, papriki and basil.
***After making this, I have decided to add grilled blacken chicken instead of peas on the next go around.***
