This is a simple dish which is quick and easy to make and allows you to enjoy your old time favorites from home.
I am trying to lose some weight, and find some recipes that are low cal, but also satisfying, this is the first one I have come up with, delicious, filling, and still low cal.
EAASSSY!!... this was something I threw together one night when I was first discovering how interesting cooking can be. If this is the only thing you're cooking at the same time, less than 30min ordeal.. I however usually cook it while cooking other things because its so low-maintenance.

Ingredients:
*Hillshire Farm Turkey Smoked Sausage, 14 oz
*Pork & Beans 1/2 cup Van Camp's, 12 serving
Brown Sugar, .25 cup, unpacked
*Ketchup, Heinz, 4 tbsp
Onions, raw, 3 tbsp chopped
Yellow Mustard, 5 tsp or 1 packet
Pepper, black, 1 tsp
I got this recipe from Chef Al at the cafe where I work. The grilling of the cucumber to get that smoky char flavor is what really makes this salad.
A lighter version of Taco Salad! The Catalina Dressing mixed with taco seasoning really makes the salad! You can skip the Doritos to save on calories, but I think they're worth it.
It can be the main event or just a good side dish!
Great for salad dressing sub, sandwich spread, or over any type Tex-Mex meal, also great over roasted Pork
