This is a full-fledged pie recipe. The crust turns out perfectly flaky. You could, optionally, use extra virgin olive oil, if using the crust recipe for something savory.
Also, and this is important to note: This makes one pie, plus an extra apple pie pocket, depending on how you roll your dough. I generally cut my pie into 12 slices, and will bake off the pie pocket as its own two-serving item.
This has got to be one of the best desserts I have ever made....it tastes so good you will believe you are cheating where as in fact, it contains only minimal fat and carbs. I have this as a bed time snack to take the edge of my sweet tooth but any time of day would be good too :-)

This is a recipe I've used for years. I ddn't usually measure anything, but my girls needed to know amounts of the ingredients, so I wrote everything down when I made it.This was the first time I made this recipe with Craisins, raisins, and pecans. I also use this recipe and put sliced bananas instead or just raisins.
This is my muffin top recipe. I use it with peanut butter ice cream for a yummy dessert. This is still a work in progress.
Extra muffins can be frozen then re heated in the microwave.

This recipe was passed down from my grandmother. I do not know its origins, but it is moist & delicious! Her original coffee icing recipe was lost, so I have adapted a Better Homes & Gardens recipe for the frosting. In-between layers, a generous portion of grape jam adds a unique flavor and keeps the cake moist.
