Boil water and steep 4 bags of green tea. Add mint and leave to sit and cool. Pour tea into pitcher, add maple syrup and dilute to taste with ice water.
A healthy delicious smoothie for the mid-afternoon or afterwork pick-me-up. The smoothie is much more refreshing if bananas are kept frozen prior to use.
This is modified from a Vitamix Recipe. I use cooked tomatoes because they have higher lycopene levels than fresh. All other vegetables are raw; fresh or frozen.
