Lactose Free Recipes (Most Popular)
This meal is rustic, authentic, and delicious. It's full of meat, veggies, and carbs so it's very well rounded. You would be amazed at how authentic this recipe is, and it's because we got it from our relatives in Italy.. I even had to translate it.
SUGAR, white granulated: 1 cup ... I couldn't get the ingredient calculator to take a cup.
BROWN SUGAR, 1/2 cup, packed
Easy to make for delicious cake like cookies.
I'm always looking for delicious fruit smoothies to make in the morning for breakfast-on-the-go. This is also a great post-workout treat. You may choose to omit the protein powder if you don't want it... or add vanilla extract and a packet of Splenda instead.
I wanted to make myself soup but to increase my protein intake too. I am not a chef so the preparation might not be the best. I just made it up and it tasted very nice.
A delicious Green smoothie with mixed frozen fruit, spinach and a vegetable / fruit juice blend, with a splash of honey for sweetness!
This delicious soup feels super rich, creamy and decadent, but contains absolutely no dairy and only 4.7g of fat (from the olive oil) which can be decreased even further by using an olive oil sprayer. For vegetarians or even vegans, vegetable stock can be used instead of chicken stock. I usually add whatever other root vegetables I have on hand- potatoes, celery root, carrots, turnips, etc, so have fun with it and don't be afraid to experiment. I personally love the earthy and creamy taste of the sunchokes, but if they are not to your liking or you cannot find them in your market, by all means, leave them out. This soup is perfect for holiday dinners, cold days, or anytime when you crave a hearty and rich meal...without all the guilt!

I found this recipe on Kaiser Permanente's Healthy cookbook online. I made it for the first time today and LOVED it! These burgers are the PERFECT summer lunch when I really want a burger. I paired the burger patty with some caramelized onions and a whole wheat pita for a delicious lunch.
We love eating Chinese style dinners, but going out to a Chinese Restaurant gets us too much sodium and MSG. So we got creative. With lots of vegetables, reduced sodium sauces, and shrimp, we created a terrific low fat, high fiber dinner that was easy to make and easy to eat.
I created this recipe for the Take Back the Value Meal Day in 2011. Idea was to create recipes for under $5 per serving.
