I just use regular ground beef for this recipe and rinse and drain it. I started out with 1 pound, but after cooking and rinsing, it is about 12 oz I think, so I used that one. This makes 7 cups.

I use these as bread or hamburger buns, for burgers, for breakfast sandwiches. I've made them into garlic bread, spreading with butter and garlic salt, broiling until toasty. I've even made french toast.
