This is a high protein, caffeine free morning tea that conforms to a lower fat version of the Ketogenic Diet.
I don't use artificial sweeteners and prefer to have my desserts less sweet. I cannot find a commercially available ice cream that suits my taste so I made my own by blending equal parts of my favorite ice cream with unsweetened almond milk. I get my ice cream fix for just about half the fat, calories, sugar and carbs! Perhaps not as creamy as the real thing, but it is cold, sweet and the scales thank me in the morning. YAY!

This is very yummy. I added a few things that we like. I like to add some boca crumbles.
You can also add Jimmy Dean turkey crumbles if you do meat.
I usually make 1/2 of the recipe for myself.
Sprinkle some Taco seasoning on top or cumin for a kick when serving.
