This is really yummy! My boyfriend LOVES it, but it is pretty high in fat and calories. I'd recommend this for a potluck or when you're cooking for the guys. It would be better with turkey italian sausage, but it wasn't available.

The original recipe called for 28 ounces of pork & beans. But the calorie amount was so high that I decided to only use half the beans and then cut down a little on the bbq sauce accordingly. With the beans, it's a way to get more fiber into your sandwich.
