This recipe primarily comes from page 32 of the Philadelphia Cream Cheese "Cheesecake" book, dated 1989, Library of Congress Catalog # 88-64120. We use lower fat vanilla wafers (rather than the graham crackers and margarine used in the original recipe) for the bottom 'crust.' Replaced full fat cream cheese with fat-free version.
These Snobby Joes are certain to plelase both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Can add ketchup and pickles. Can also serve in lettuce wraps instead of on buns.
Tikka Masala recipes call for a Garam Masala spice blend. This is hard to find, though it's basically a combination of various Indian spices, so I included my own Garam blend in this dish. Delicious.

This is a great soup if you are congested, or just hungry! I use chicken broth that is salted, so I don't add any salt to the recipe, but you may want to. I developed this soup to use up left over roasted chicken. You can boil the meat off the bones, or use other sources of chicken.
I"m addicted to Mocha Frappes and had to find some way to get that flavor without the 500 calories. This is pretty darn close. I'm still tweaking this. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
The calorie count is for 1/2 cup mix and 1/2 cup 1% milk.
****Keep in mind this is a Lite Version. If you want to make it closer to real thing then replace 3/4 cup no calorie sweetner with 3/4 cup sugar for a total of 1 cup sugar.
Use this blend on any "low and slow" kind of roast you are making! I add some red pepper flakes to give it a kick, but then again, I like everything spicy. Enjoy!
I got this recipe from someone who got it of the internet. Though you should use Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix, i used the Dips mix nutrutional info because i didn't have the Dressing packet handy (though it should be similar). You don't have to use all of the oil. It's very tasty and great for parties and poker nights.
If you love chocolate cake, this recipe is for you! This cake takes little to no effort to make. Feel free to leave out the candy, or substitute chocolate chips....you won't be dissapointed. This cake should only be made on special occassions because you might form a serious addiction to it!
I usually get a store bought cake for birthdays around here but my daughter was turning 3 and I wanted to make a healthier cake so that I could share in the festivites and not feel so much guilt so this is what I made. Instead of making a square or 9" round I made cupcakes since they are more fun for kids and there isn't as much left sitting around as a temptation. P.S. NOONE knew the difference. They were just as moist and the taste was just as great. I used a little of the new frosting in the can with the decorating tips and just used a little on the ones that I was going to eat to keep the cals and fat down but enough to give it taste.
We have fun adding "mix ins" such as homemade strawberry jam, splenda-sweetened sour cherries from our tree, or choc chips (not included in nutritional analysis)

This is what I came up with for our SuperBowl feast. I am cooking it in my rice cooker which has a slow cooker feature, but it can be cooked in any slow cooker and the instructions will reflect that.
It's almost Mardi Gras and what says it better than jambalaya? This recipe is letting me clean out my freezer and is convenient because you make it in a rice cooker.WWPP=8
This is a great pantry recipe. Use chicken you cooked yourself or get a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store.
