Yummy side or main dish. Called for garlic salt but I use whole fresh garlic, I also add cilantro.
The recipe called for 2 cups cooked rice but I do not like to add it to the recipe but serve it on the side in case someone does not want rice.
This calls for Draining and reserving the juice from a can of Bush's Black beans, I drain and rinse the beans but add water in place of the bean juice
This is my new go to fruit salad. SO yummy! Could not find purple grapes in the Spark Data base so the calorie count is off
This dressing makes me want to eat salad for every meal - I use the Whole Foods balsamic from the bulk section - its very thick, which I love, but you may want to add a bit of water to your dressing if you want to thin it out a little.
great salead dressing with leaf lettuce and or spinach,add whatever other vegs fruit ect. it is our faimilies new fav!
You can play with this recipe and add whatever fresh ingredients or salad dressing that you like. The surprise is that the flavors blend well an it's very filling!

2 cups or half an iceberg lettuce
1 medium tomato
half 1 red onion
1 green bell pepper
1 cucumber, skin on

I modified a standard coleslaw recipe to lower the calories, fat, and carbs, but keep the good taste.
