Made with 100% vegan protein powder, too much sugar, and cinnamon! (I admittedly used two tablespoons of brown sugar instead of two teaspoons - whoops!)
My husband and I love the white cheese sauce you get at Mexican Restaurants, however our waistlines don't. We came up with this version to e lighter and we made it versatile by leaving out the jalapenos.
I love cream cheese spreads, I don't like the taste of straight fat free cream cheese so I added neufchatel and replaced the full fat versions.
I love hot wings. So in search of a way to have them more often I came up with this recipe with a little help from Racheal Ray's base recipe.
My husband and I love salsas. We needed to find some that were not as salty because we both have high bloodpressure. This one hits al the bells and whistles jut not all the sodium.
Thought I would try my hand at making crackers. Can never find a low sodium, whole wheat cracker that is not too expensive. This makes 60 individual or12 serving, 5 crackers each.
This is my take on Dukan Oat bran Muffins. I am not allowed to follow the Dukan completely but these I thought were good. I have another version that I make with wheat bran.
My mother in law gave me this recipe. Wow are they good. Hubby even likes these except he requested them to be more sweet.
Great tasting, high protein and energy for those growing sporty kids or atheletes! Can freeze in styrofoam or plastic cups so kids can get them when needed! They just have to microwave them for about 30,45 to 60 seconds depending on how frozen, slushy, or smooth they want them! My kids love them and then they get their fruit and milk food groups, and some sustained energy!!! Can substitute low fat products to make it low fat. Can substitute sugar substitute for sugar for low carb.
The original Toll House favorite cut down to a quarter of a batch.
My first attempt at making hummus. A little too much vinegar, but not horrible. I was trying to thin it out a bit so that it could puree. It will be better next time. :o)
I am a huge fan of Almond Joy! So my husband created this smoothie for when I really am craving one.
I am recycling this recipe from http://cheatykitchen.com. The blogger here used soy milk and this recipe is then vegan. I have a cow, so I use dairy. That's how I roll...it works well (presumably) with soy milk too!
