Each serving is appx 2 & 1/2 cups, but since its nutritious enough for a meal you can go larger for a full dinner, or go smaller portions for a healthy side and feed more people.
This is the original recipe. My kids love things spicy, so I will add 2 jalapenos next time
I make this soup with less water so that it's a heavy mix of cooked vegetables, ready to be scooped from the pot and reheated in a bowl for a satisfying lunch or light supper.
Put all ingredients into a blender. Place in a glass pan and freeze.
Coco wheats are a regional item. You may not be able to find them everywhere. These servings are a little more that the amount on the box. And I have added vanilla. Also, I could not get around the extra sugar. This is a family favorite and is still a nutritious breakfast
This recipe is from Susan Gregory's "Daniel Fast". It does not call for any animal stock or products so it is most likely good for vegans as well as vegetarians. It is very tasty and filling!
