This is a wonderful pasta creation with pesto-like sauce made from sundried tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, and red pepper flakes. Can be made with your favorite pasta, but we usually use spaghetti. A great alternative to the same boring pasta with tomato sauce!
This a really great alternative to a fettuccine type of dish. I used De Boles organic spinach fettuccine, but any kind of whole wheat or spinach pasta will do.
Not exactly a stew but I didn't know what to call it! It's like a mix of chili and stew.
I eat this every morning for breakfast. Unfortunately the values are approximate. I just eye it when I'm pouring the stuff in. I don't think I put quite as much walnuts and cinnamon in as what the ingredients say, but I have a hard time approximating amounts. BUT, that being said, this is a very yummy, healthy, breakfast that will fill you up, give you lots of energy and keep you full. :-)
My go-to breakfast since we moved to Florida. Fruits can vary with the season. For example substitute strawberries for raspberries.
When you have no time to cook, much less grocery shop, you can still have a delicious, filling meal. Serve over rice, or with naan bread.
This isn't low cal, though it could be made lighter by using light cream cheese and light blue cheese dressing. If you are looking to indulge and want a fiber burst, this is a good recipe. To save on calories, it tastes great as a dip for celery (instead of chips) or for a dinner served over a baked potato.
This vegan chili is delicious. Everyone in the family, including my carnivorous husband, loves it.
