Yummy scones.
I took the Weight Watcher recipe and modified it to make it a bit healthier. BUT, still white flour!
Made with 1 cup of fresh cherries and half cup of chopped dark chocolate. Sub sugar with stevia and 1 cup of flour with oats for a higher fibre low cal version.
These Chocolate and Roasted Cherry Scones are gluten free, dairy free and full of Summer cherry flavour. Adapted from Brittany Angell's book Every Last Crumb

Can use either craisins, raisins or dried cherries. Tastes great either way!

Preheat oven to 400,
These scones have a slightly sweet taste which compliments the tart, dried cherries well.
Modified from a Quaker Oats recipe omitting egg.
light fluffly cherry scones are a delightful treat
Buttery and not low fat, but recipe can be adapted by making smaller portions as desired. The 12 = 465 calories apiece, so this is a treat.
