A good low cal alternative to regular applesauce.
Melt butter in skillet. Add oil. Add onion when oil/butter is hot. Cook until onion is translucent (about 10 minutes). Add apples. Cook until apples are lightly browned (about 10 minutes).
Slice and Mix together and either saute or microwave with skins still on.
