Nutrition & Calorie Comments

We really liked this - I omitted the chicken broth and the salt and added zucchini. I wasn't sure I would like it, but it was filling and yummy. Will definitely make again!
I used a 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes, a 30 oz. container of low sodium broth and only 2 chicken breasts diced - everything else same as the recipe. Delicious!
I added one leek finely chopped, Old Bay Seasoning and some extra cinnamon and salt too. I would recommend letting it simmer for more than an hour to let the spices and veggie flavors meld a bit better. Very tasty experiment!
I have the book and it does include okra in the recipe. This is a very tasty soup! Love it! I add a tad of Old bay seasoning in place of the salt
I make this but leave out the salt because I add a can of rotel for more of a kick and sometimes add zucchini and squash. I have lost 30 lbs on this diet.
