Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Made this for lunch yesterday. Based on reviews I read before making this, I cut down water to 2 cups, added a teaspoon of Turmeric, omitted salt and added a teaspoon of Mrs. Dash original. Also increased garlic to 5 cloves. It was good. My son really liked it, too.
I made this but omitted the salt and added 2 tsp each of ground cumin and corriander. I also omitted the peppers and added in mushrooms. I upped the lentils by 1/2 c. I really liked how it turned out and it was a nice quick accompanyment to the lamb steaks.
took out the salt, added fresh cilantro from my garden
This is a great way to fix lentils. I did add some sodium free chicken bouillon powder to the water. We all loved them.
