Love Asparagus. I cooked in the microwave with shallots for about 2 minutes, depends on strength of microwave. I leave the asparagus a little tough and add fat-free italian dressing and I do the same with Green Beans; don't always cook the green beans.
A great side dish at a dinner party.
I cook asparagus something like this but instead of salt and pepper I sprinkle a teaspoon of Italian seasoning over it while sautéing.
