This appears to be accurate for typical North Indian home made daal with tadka (who are not trying to make it too low fat). Serving size of a "katori" is the amount one typically consumes with about 3 chapatis or equivalent rice. Method etc. missing (so 3 stars) - seen in any Indian cookbook
