Ingredients

1/2 cup recently fed sourdough starter
3 cups bread flour (about)
2 tbsp melted, salted butter
1/2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 cup water
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
Directions
Combine starter, 2 cups flour, butter, salt, sugar and water until well blended.
Add in the rest of the flour gradually, while mixing, until dough comes together and cleans the sides of the bowl.
Let rise, covered, until doubled - can be up to 12 hours.
Divide dough into 20 pieces and shape into rolls. Brush each with water.
Place bread crumbs in a shallow dish and dip rolls until coated well.
Arrange on lightly greased baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
Let rise 1 hour, or until doubled in volume.
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes, and serve warm or room temperature.
