Introduction

Delicious Persian salad that I always get when I go to restaurants. Cheaper to make it at home and goes with any meal. You might find sumac at any middle eastern store, but if you can't find it leave it out. It just adds an extra tang to the salad. Delicious Persian salad that I always get when I go to restaurants. Ingredients

1 cup red tomatoes, seeds removed & diced
1 cup English cucumber peeled & diced
    1/2 cup red onions, diced
    Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 tsp dried dill
    1/2 tsp dried mint
    1/2 tsp Sumac
    S & P to taste

Directions

Finely dice tomatoes, cucumber and onion into small cubes. If you only have a regular cucumber, remove the seeds. Remove seeds from tomatoes before dicing to avoid a watery salad.

Add all other ingredients and toss to coat the veggies. Serve with extra lemon wedges.
