High sodium but great lunch idea. You can reduce salt by rinsing the sauerkraut, but it retracts from the flavor. I also use a lower sodium turkey breast but couldn't find it in the search engine.
The recipe pairs well with chicken soup to become the traditional dish of Chicken and Dumplings, but is delicious in other soups as well.
This is no-vinegar cucumber salad with light sour cream instead. The recipe was found in the wooden recipe box of Ruth Elizabeth Tinckinck-Horton's.
This is a pretty easy soup to make. It's warm and hearty, too. It only has 5 main ingredients: cabbage, Bob Evans sausage, onions, tomatos and fat free chicken broth. I add pepper to taste. It makes 5 1/3 servings of 1 1/2 cups each.
My kids weren't sure what these were so I decided to make them. Who wouldn't love cheesy potatoes?! Enjoy!

Every Christmas Market in Germany has these and they are a rare treat and delicious.
Wonderful chocolate layer cake which is soaked in Kirsch liqueur, with cherry filling. Very rich, but for best results use full-fat sour cream and real unsalted butter, it makes a difference!
Family recipe passed down, very simple. Like a heavier version of pancakes, more eggy and all cut up! :D Not low calorie tho. :(
