This is my favorite pizza crust recipe. No waiting for dough to rise. This dough will make 3-4 small crusts or 1 thick crust or 2 thin crust pizzas... it works well all ways! Can also be made with 1/3 or 1/2 whole wheat flour if you wish.
My six year old child created this recipe, renamed it at 8 years old.
My youngest child participated in the making of a cook book in Kindergarten, this is a submission from one of the students.
Quick breads are made without yeast, require no rising time, and traditionally made with ingredients you have around the house, as well as whatever happens to be just nearly going a little too ripe. Spotty and almost brown bananas? Extra zucchini that no kid in the house wants to eat? Let’s make quick bread!
In baking, quick breads are especially versatile. As long as the ratio of wet to dry ingredients remain the same, and you keep all the levening agents intact (eggs, baking soda and baking powder) the rest is interchangeable. You can use bananas, oatmeal, flavoured yogurts, seeds, ground walnuts instead of butter, any combo of spices, and it will still work.
I made one of these two days ago with ground oatmeal, vanilla, and more yogurt in place of the puree, and it was delicious.
a super fast recipe that the kids love.
These are great for outside or camping trips, too.
This is THE most favorite cookie my kids love. I love it because there is no baking and it takes only a short time to make it! You just drop the stove top cooked mixture onto waxed paper and cool!
My family loves this recipe. I took an old favorite and made it as low fat as possible. It started out at about 30 grams of fat per serving, but using low fat or no fat substitutes does not sacrifice the flavor. My kids like it because they get to dip the chips. I sometimes add corn to trick them into eating their veggies!
Here is your chocolate fix for under 80 calories per cookie. The problem is trying to stop eating them.
This tasty treat will become a favorite go to for when your kids ask for chicken nuggets.
